Moroccan meteorites falls and finds documentation

- Morocco is one of the most important places in the world on meteorite collection, many valuable meteorites has been collected in the South of Morocco. During the last years, many falls occurred in Morocco including the fabulous Martian meteorite “Tissint”.

- The ATTARIK team of research is working hard since 2001 to document Moroccan meteorites with their geographic coordinates. All latest meteorite falls in Morocco are very well documented with a detailed field work giving a precise description and information on the circumstances of the fall. Then analysis are performed mostly in cooperation with partners from different laboratories in the world.
